we spent our pioneer day doing nothing out of the ordinary. the drover worked most the day. i took mr. dog to his agility class. might i add he is seriously getting rather good. that night we enjoyed a bbq with my dad, sible, matt, uncle jim and aunt karen (who had us all quite entertained by her many stories). after dinner we wandered around my dad's new property and met some of the neighbors. (none of them actually people- wait just 1) while the horses enjoyed a good nose scratching- the very territorial texas longhorn gave us all quite the heart stopping show. he was angry about something. it was a great night until the mosquitoes came out...

Oh how I love Holly Hocks! They are some of the prettiest flowers I think! Great pics! I want to come see the new place now that I'm assuming they are unpacked!

oh my gosh! you are so talented! i NEED that top picture of powerlines. Ayla named little Gunar powerline before he was even born. she is certain that is still his "real" name and gunnar can be his "other" name. i want to frame it and hang it in the nursery to remember the silly story.
also love all the rest of these photos!
