symptom: on and off limping for a few weeks
diagnoses: after numerous x-rays and a consult from a specialist (mr. dog knows people in the right places) we found he has a soft tissue shoulder injury
treatment: joint tap, cortisone injection
and
STRICT rest for three weeks.
In case you haven't noticed mr. dog doesn't really rest. ever. In fact i'm certain our four year old extremely active border collie has no idea what the word rest means. Let alone strict rest. Oh boy we are in for it- wish us luck.
