A Day at the duck pond....

My sister in-law leslee called me this morning and suddenly needed a baby sitter today. I gladly accepted because who wouldn't want to spend the day with the most darling two year girl! During the day Myah and I ran a few errands and baked some cookies. After uncle Hank got home from work we ventured to the Layton duck pond where we innocently wanted to feed the ducks. Little did we know we were stepping right into a death trap. First off seagulls started flocking to us in large numbers and I detest seagulls. I think its that loud squawking noise or maybe its because they come so close and theres always so many. I'm not sure all i know is that i do not care for them. Not at all. The ducks were cute, with their orange beaks and they way the wandle when they walk.... but only from a distance. Soon they started chasing us up the trail with their mouths open trying to peck our legs. We had to pick up poor Myah so she would not be pecked to death (lucky for her she was just enjoying feeding the birds). I think, speaking to anyone from my fathers side of the family that i inherited aunt Raelyns "issues" with birds. They seem to sense our fear, and flock right to us. We are just glad we made it out alive!!! haha Warning to anyone visiting the Layton duck pond that these birds mean bussiness... they want FOOD!
